Why Choose Provence for Your Wedding?

ROMANCE OF OLIVES GROVES

Provence is not just a location; it’s a journey into a world of romance and beauty. Imagine exchanging vows amidst the rolling lavender fields, celebrating your love in a historic chateau, or dancing under the starlit skies of the Mediterranean. The region’s climate is perfect for weddings, with over 300 days of sunshine a year, especially ideal in the spring and early autumn months.

Incorporating the Provençal Ambiance

A Provencal wedding is about embracing the local culture and traditions. Consider using local flowers like lavender and sunflowers in your décor to add a touch of rustic elegance. For your menu, delight your guests with regional specialties such as ratatouille, bouillabaisse, and a selection of local cheeses and wines. These small touches will transport your guests into the heart of French culture.

Venues of Elegance

Selecting the Perfect Venue

There are options, for venues, each offering its distinct charm. You can choose from farmhouses nestled in the countryside or grand historic châteaus with stories. When deciding think about the kind of atmosphere you’d like to create—whether its an intimate setting or a more lavish and grand one. Don’t forget to consider aspects well such as guest accommodation and convenient travel connections.

The welcome dinner is your chance to make a first impression. Host it in a local vineyard or a traditional French bistro. For the ceremony, whether you choose a quaint chapel or a scenic outdoor setting, ensure it reflects your personal style. The reception is where you can really showcase the french “art de vivre” – think long tables under the stars, fine French cuisine, and local musicians playing into the night.
